Great Test Academy 85% Pass Guarantee Terms and Conditions

These Pass Guarantee Terms apply only to the 85% Pass Guarantee program and supplement our general Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1) What the Pass Guarantee is

The 85% Pass Guarantee is a conditional program offered to eligible students who meet all requirements listed on this page. The guarantee is tied to performance in a qualifying simulation inside AI Exam Prep and completion of required steps.

 

2. Definitions

  • AI Exam Prep: Great Test Academy’s AI-powered testing and simulation product.

  • Qualifying Simulation: A full state-exam simulation designated as qualifying inside your account.

  • Qualifying Score: A score of 85% or higher on a Qualifying Simulation.

  • State Exam: The California insurance licensing exam administered through the state’s testing provider.

  • License Line: Property & Casualty or Life & Health.

 

3. How to earn the guarantee

To earn the 85% Pass Guarantee, you must:

  1. You have active, paid access to Great Test Academy AI Exam Prep.

  2. Your access was purchased by you through normal checkout. Access that is granted for free, comped, discounted to $0, or manually provided by Great Test Academy for any reason is not eligible for the Pass Guarantee.

  3. You complete the State Exam Simulation (150 questions) under normal testing conditions (no outside assistance).

  4. You score 85% or higher on the State Exam Simulation (150 questions).

  5. You take the California state licensing exam within 72 hours of earning the 85%+ score on the State Exam Simulation. The 72-hour window starts at the timestamp of the qualifying simulation score shown in your account.

If your account shows the guarantee as earned, you are eligible subject to the exclusions below.

 

4. Claim requirements if you do not pass the state exam

If you do not pass the state exam after earning the guarantee, you must:

  1. Contact Great Test Academy support within 48 hours of your exam attempt.

  2. Provide your official state exam score report showing a non-passing result.

  3. Confirm the exam attempt matches the same license line as the qualifying State Exam Simulation (150 questions).

  4. Provide the name and email address used for your Great Test Academy account so we can verify purchase status, simulation score, timestamps, and eligibility.

Claims submitted outside the 48-hour window, without the score report, or outside the 72-hour exam window will be denied.

5. What You Receive

Approved claims receive a refund of up to $80, not to exceed the amount you actually paid for AI Exam Prep.

  • Refunds are processed back to the same card or account used at checkout.

  • If the original payment method is unavailable (expired card, closed account), we may require an alternate method or decline the claim if we cannot verify a compliant refund path.

  • Refund timing depends on your bank or card issuer after we submit the refund.

The refund applies only to the AI Exam Prep purchase associated with the account that earned the guarantee.

 

6. Limits

  • One approved claim per student, per license line.

  • The guarantee applies only to the first eligible non-passing attempt submitted within the claim window.

  • The guarantee is non-transferable and tied to the student account that earned it.

7. Exclusions

The Pass Guarantee does not apply if:

  • The account is shared, transferred, or used by more than one person.

  • The Qualifying Simulation was completed with outside assistance, collaboration, or any method that does not reflect normal test conditions.

  • The state exam attempt does not match the license line used to earn the guarantee.

  • A chargeback, payment dispute, or refund has been initiated for the AI Exam Prep purchase.

  • We cannot verify eligibility due to missing documentation or inconsistent account information.

  • There is evidence of abuse, manipulation, or attempted exploitation of the program.

  • The state exam was not taken within 72 hours of the qualifying 85%+ score on the State Exam Simulation (150 questions).

  • The claim was not submitted within 48 hours of the exam attempt.

  • The exam attempt date/time cannot be verified on the official score report or other official documentation.

8. Program Integrity

Great Test Academy may deny or revoke eligibility if we reasonably determine that a student’s behavior undermines the integrity of the program, including account sharing, unusual testing patterns, or misrepresentation.

10. Relationship to General Terms

These Pass Guarantee Terms supplement Great Test Academy’s general Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict between these terms and the general Terms, these Pass Guarantee Terms control for the Pass Guarantee program.
